Community Guidelines
Version 2026-07-14 · Effective 14 July 2026
Companion exists for genuine, respectful, lawful companionship. These Guidelines keep everyone safe. They apply to all users and form part of our Terms of Service. Breaking them can lead to warnings, removal of content, or a permanent ban — and, where relevant, a report to the authorities.
Be respectful
- Treat everyone with courtesy. No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination.
- “No” means no. Respect boundaries, consent, and anyone’s decision to end a conversation or booking.
- No unsolicited explicit content or messages.
Be authentic
- Use your real identity and recent, genuine photos. No impersonation or fake profiles.
- You must be 18 or older to use Companion.
- Describe your services and rates honestly.
Stay safe
- Prefer public places for first meetings; tell a friend your plans.
- Keep conversations and payments on the Platform — it protects you with escrow, records and support. Off-platform payment requests are a red flag.
- Never share financial details, OTPs, or passwords with other users.
Play fair
- Honour confirmed bookings, or cancel promptly and honestly.
- No spam, scams, or attempts to defraud other users or the Platform.
- Don’t circumvent fees or the booking flow.
Reporting & enforcement
If someone breaks these Guidelines or makes you feel unsafe, use the in-app report tools or contact grievance@companion.app. We review reports and may warn, suspend, or permanently remove accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement where appropriate. Because messages are end-to-end encrypted, please include screenshots or details when reporting message-based issues.
